Alexei Matveyev — Eight years.

 Alexei is eight years old. He is a kind and loving boy from a friendly and large family. Unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder associated with developmental delay, delayed speech development, and behavioral disorders.

Alexei was born a healthy, strong boy into a loving family. At first, his development was normal, but at two months old, he had an intestinal virus and began to develop problems both physically and mentally. Aleksejs started eating poorly, stopped gaining weight, and developed noticeable developmental delays.

Alexei's mother, worried about her son's condition, sought medical help. They visited many doctors, but often received reassuring but inaccurate statements that the child's condition was temporary and would soon improve.

At the age of 1.5, Aleksejs' parents underwent genetic tests, and he was diagnosed

 "genetic developmental disorder."

After the diagnosis was made, Alexei's mother began actively looking for a rehabilitation center that could help her son. Based on feedback from other parents, she decided to contact the Saint Sophia Children's Rehabilitation Center.

During consultations with the center's neurologist, Aleksejs' mother was promised assistance in correcting the child's development and behavior. The center's specialists use the most advanced behavior correction methods, which yield good results.

A neurologist prescribed a rehabilitation course for Alexei, which included neurodynamic exercises, brain bioacoustic correction, micropolarization, sensory space sessions, consultations with a speech therapist, and an ABA therapist. Such comprehensive rehabilitation helps children with special needs integrate into society. Alexei still has a year left to prepare for school.
